REDWOOD CITY (BCN) — A San Francisco woman who created fake Facebook identities and used them to contact young girls in 2009 was sentenced Thursday to nine months in jail and ordered to register as a sex offender, San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said.
Jeanette Aragona, 20, created Facebook pages for fictitious boys she named “AJ”, “BJ” and “Matthew” and used them to contact eight girls at Westborough Middle School in South San Francisco, Wagstaffe said.
She engaged in sexually explicit conversations with the girls and eventually met them, at which point she claimed to be AJ and BJ’s aunt. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
